Australia Zoo

We love the zoo! 🤍✨
The happiest animals in captivity I’ve ever come across! We bought the annual pass and my 2 year old is free! We’ve spend countless days wandering the park in the 3 months we’ve had the pass and it is such a great mid-week activity. It’s a great spot for education with so much to discover and prompt inquiries for the kids to learn and explore. The splash park is amazing on the hotter days as well!

My first time visiting and I was completely blown away. The entire complex is VERY modern, clean and well kept. There are lots of trees for shade coverage, free kids rides and the animals are able to be seen up so close! I've been to Melbourne Zoo and this beats it way out of the water. Highly recommend going on a weekday as it was very peaceful. We were the only ones looking at the elephants at lunch time and it was such a tranquil experience. Worth every penny. There's also super cute lizards running around everywhere.

I had to give this Zoo 5 stars. It is awesome!
We have to been to many around the world and this by far exceeds all of them!
Bring your walking shoes!
So much to look at (be patient as some animals are sleeping and u may have to go back to certain areas). We loved that the animals loved being there. Enclosures are so big and clean.
Kudos to the Irwin family for putting these beautiful animals and creatures first but also accomodating us as humans to have an absolute amazing experience.
Thank you to Terri and the kids for keeping the late Steve Irwin alive in their hearts and as an Aussie who grew up watching Steve and Terri it was so wonderful to see the memorabilia of the whole family.
Food was great. Amenities were clean.
We definitely will be back to see the Lemurs come down the trees ☺️

It was first our visit to Australian and we had such a great experience. Spent about 5 hours walking from one section to another. So big variety of different animals, fantastic show with the stories about them. Huge territory with lots of cafe, water drinking stations, toilets and souvenir shops. Zoo is kept so clean, neat and tidy. We missed a show with tigers and will come back to have a look at this one later.

My daughters and I really enjoyed our time at the zoo. We spent 4 hours walking around and taking in all the wonderful animals. Every enclosure had animals in it so we felt very lucky that that was the case. The show at the middle of the day was wonderful, however I would note that the music was too loud over the presenters voices. I did love that so much of what they talk about is based and still surrounded on Steve Irwin. It's lovely to see his legacy lives on.
