I recently had to claim for my two suitcases that were damaged from a flight from Sydney to Hanoi via Saigon. I emailed receipt and pictures of the damage. I did not hear from the company for a few days. Then I received an email telling me that my claim was processed & the money would be in my account next week. The money was in two days later. This was all achieved without phone calls. I must be the lucky one & am very happy with my experience with this company.

Like others if I could provide a lower rating I would. It’s taken over 3 months to process a straightforward claim…only because I dedicated over 10 hours to phoning them, waiting on hold and speaking to multiple different individuals to move things along. Don’t bother with emails. And don’t choose the call back option. You’ll get nowhere. The complaints email with Tokyo Marine (provided by the company on below thread) will also not result in a response.

Warning- if your holiday is cancelled due to an EARTHQUAKE they won’t refund your accommodation costs overseas as well as your emergency accommodation and related expenses (meals, taxis) you forked out mid route as per their advice! It’s one or the other. Their ‘advice’ has left me $1400 out of pocket as I was told to book emergency accommodation and save all my receipts.

How they can continue to operate is baffling. Steer clear!

Absolutely appalling service — avoid at all costs.

I waited an entire year only to be told the same excuse I was given last year, despite the company admitting they made an error and reopening the case. They chose to only address the minor issue—my daughter accidentally leaving a bag of souvenirs—while completely ignoring the much more serious matter: a missing bag that was never recovered at Naples Airport, despite clear evidence of purchase.

The investigation was incomplete, the communication almost non-existent, and the overall customer service utterly disgraceful. I’ve emailed and called numerous times over the past year with no real progress or accountability from their end.

This has hands down been the worst experience I’ve ever had with any company in this industry—unresponsive, careless, and uninterested in resolving genuine issues. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.

I can't believe this company won awards. Please don't even bother commenting on my review from your marketing/corporate affairs team. Given the low rating from numerous unhappy customers, the facts speaks for itself.

This is a very bad company. Had to wait for more than 4 weeks with several phone calls to get a response. Trip got cancelled by the airlines due to technical issue with the plane. However, they have sneakily added an exclusion clause in the policy. Basically, they exclude everything that’s possible to claim. Found them on the website compare the market. Should have checked their reviews before.

they are very bad people . my journey from melbourne to united kingdom was postponed due to my leg surgery . i gave them all of the documents which they need to assessed for my claim  but still they need more and more. here i am going to tell everyone plz do not buying insurance from this company . u will going to lose ur money. my total amount was nearly 11000 dollar but i am just claiming 4500 dollar but they are not giving me any response from last three months.
