Complete scam. Got their level 2 insurance. Lost all of my belongings from my 40L backpack in Asia on a bus. I spent over 10 hours finding so much proof and receipts that they asked me to provide and at the end they denied my claim because I “left my bag unsupervised”. - this being 1 when we stopped for a toilet break and my bag remained in the locked boot of the bus. 2 when I boarded the bus at the beginning of my trip during the time I took me to walk from the boot where I had just put my backpack, to my seat on the bus. 3 the Vietnamese police took advantage of me and wrongfully translated the information I gave them so the police report didn’t match up with what happened.
Don’t choose them unless you genuinely plan to be attached to your belongings during every single second of your trip.
Once they denied my claim I tried to call them up to refute it. As soon as I started explaining my situation the lady started saying “sorry? I can’t hear you? Hello?”. So I hung up and called them back twice and both times they “couldn’t hear me” again.

World2cover do not care at all about their customers and will find any reason they can to deny you your money. They are a scam and will rip you off. They denied me over 1.5k worth of insurance that was rightfully mine.

We had to shorten an overseas trip by one day to attend my uncle’s funeral (he died suddenly while we were away). World2Cover were excellent to deal with—both while I was overseas and once I returned home. After organizing the necessary paperwork, I submitted my claim on 30 October and received the payout on 18 November (approx $1,800 less the $200 excess). We’re very happy with the outcome. Our claim covered one night’s lost accommodation and the cost of changing our flights. I would definitely recommend this travel insurance company.

Do not waste your money, I experienced a four day travel delay, had all the evidence to prove the costs lost and activities missed including boarding passes, receipts letter from my travel agent confirming Interrupted travel, Letter from the airline still this insurance company would not pay out a cent.  They may appear cheap, that’s  because they decline every claim.

I tried to claim on my insurance after travel delays. They claim you’re covered, but simply link you to another section that excludes almost everything. Completely misleading and a waste of money — I wouldn’t recommend it.

They were fantastic when my daughter was bitten by a monkey in Bali. The whole thing could have cost us $11,000 for resultant Rabies treatments but only cost the excess. They arranged to pay the medical centre directly. Their medical team could not have been more helpful.
