Claire's Kitchen at le Salon

Last night, We dined at a Claire’s Kitchen at Le Salon and was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere exuded sophistication, setting the perfect tone for a delightful evening. The service was nothing short of brilliant—attentive, accommodating, and professional.

The scallop dish was an absolute highlight; a must-try for anyone visiting this establishment. Moreover, their steak surpassed my expectations, ranking among the best I’ve ever tasted. Not only was it exceptionally flavorful, but the portion size was generous, leaving me feeling wholly satisfied.

the set menu was a decision I didn’t regret. The combination of both quality and quantity in their offerings made it a truly fulfilling dining experience. Overall, Claire’s Kitchen at Le salon is a fantastic place that truly live up to the rating.

We loved our dining experience at the Claire’s kitchen. Food was delicious and the service was excellent. Restaurant has nice ambience and perfect for a date night. Will definitely return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience.

Dined at Claire's Kitchen last night and overall, was underwhelmed.

The restaurant itself is beautifully appointed, warm and inviting. The wine selection is very reasonable and we really enjoyed the Cote de Rhone GSM.

I had the Rillette (smoked eel pate) for entree. It was dry, presented in a compact cylinder shape and served without crispbread. I thought Rillette was a loose form,  chunky style of pate served with crispbread.
The souffle and scallops ordered by my friends looked much better. I definitely had food envy.

For main, four of us ordered the Lamb Shank Tagine. It tasted nice, though the lamb meat was dry. The dish needed more sauce and was barely warm which detracted from the dish. My partner ordered the flank steak. He said it was tough and also warm at best. He didn't enjoy it.

For dessert, three of us had the Flan Patissier. This was the most disappointing part of our meal. It lacked sweetness, was dense / dry and served with an apricot miso sauce that was overly tart and unpleasant.

Perhaps it was my meal choices but overall, I didn't enjoy the experience.

Went upstairs to show and set menu.
Awesome experience with great timing between the food and show. A mix of tables couples, fours and eights. Highly recommend this. Lovely cocktails. ❤️

French French and French
Set in the trendy suburb of Surry Hills on Oxford street this restaurant is in a class of its own. Good layout with booths for 6, romantic tables for two or make it four.
Food excellent with service to match.
Great cocktails and good wine list.
It also offers some nights with entertainment so check out the calendar.
We went Christmas Eve and it’s next level the way the restaurant was decorated and the resident singer awesome!
You won’t hear this travel guide rave on but seriously this restaurant is worth a visit you will not be disappointed.

We recently held an event upstairs at the Salon at Claire's, and it could not have been more perfect. At every stage of the planning Marc and the team went above and beyond to make things easy for us and make sure our night was beautiful. The whole restaurant is beautiful, and the team helped us set up our own flowers and decorations. The salon upstairs really does feel like a beautiful and warm French bar, your own little home for the evening with a truly intimate ambience.

The food was all delicious, and came out quickly - very impressive for a group of 31 people. The centrepiece was the croquembouche, which was beautiful and tasted as good as it looked. There were plenty of options, and plenty for our guests with dietary requirements - including things we'd overlooked like desserts. All our guests raved about the food over the next few days.

On the night, Marc and the staff made all our guests feel welcome and helped us run all the formalities - far more service than we expected, and very very much appreciated. Everyone at Claire's was kind, friendly, warm, and funny, and made all of us feel so at home. It was one of the happiest nights of our life, and Claire's made it so easy and beautiful for us.
