Today, after waiting over a hour from placing the order, was my worst, most disgusting food experience ever, salt & pepper squid (a favourite of mine), first time ever I have not finished a meal, tough beyond chewy, the coating was hard beyond chruchy. First time ever I have complained to staff about a meal, only to be told by the duty manager that I should have put my hand up and they would have got me something else - no apology.

Clean and comfortable club we were excited to try the food so we ordered steak and chips and lamb shanks with red wine jus. The steak was well cooked infact best medium rare all the way through I've had in a while, sadly both meals stopped there. The chips were stone cold, the red wine jus was a watery mix of something, the beans had pepper over them, no good for my wife who doesn't eat pepper. Best part of the entire experience was the glass of bottled wine. Chips are not difficult to cook, in fact only thing they need to be is hot, such a simple fix!. Shout out to the pepper gravy, it was great!

My "Seniors" schnitzel at $20 + $4 for mushroom gravy was most disappointing. Schnitzel size was no bigger than the palm of my hand, the mushroom gravy was tasteless and the chips were just below room temperature. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

I ordered a Senior's Chicken schnitzel and couldn't believe how small it was—no bigger than the palm of my hand. The salad portion was also small, as were the chips. Definitely not worth $20!

Good family friendly relaxed atmosphere and the outdoor seating area overlooking the Glenelg oval is quite nice which i think would be even better at night if they turn on the fairy lights. The food is of pretty good quality, generous serves and quite reasonable prices. Kind of brought back memories to be quite honest as I used to go to school next door and quite often used the oval to play sports. 20 odd years ago seems like so long ago😎
