The ambience at The Heights is cozy and charming with a yesteryear feel. The chef is also an absolute LEGEND- extraordinarily gifted in his field, but also incredibly obliging! We arrived after kitchen had closed and he reopened it to accommodate our late arrival. His cuisine is not only magnificent but the wide range of cuisine options, is also most impressive. Bravo Team Heights ! ❤️

This place was a gigantic disappointment! If a Irishman or someone from Ireland had the Irish breakfast I'm sure they would die. My baked beans couldn't be eaten and that's very rare for me they just tasted weird I also got a wine that was totally not what I was trying to get There was no one with wine knowledge no wine list. Very dated decor. Very unusual there was a number of flies indoors.😐 But my company said her salad was wonderful.

I hope the new owners see this and take the feedback on board.
The meal I ordered had sauce that was unpalatably sweet. My son's sauce was unpalatably salted. Note: We are not fussy people, but it was so bad that I have to comment.
I had eaten here and had drinks before under the previous ownership and the place was packed, good service and great atmosphere.
Last night I was gobsmacked at the drop in atmosphere, quality, service and patronage.
The music was basically someone on staff streaming Spotify (or similar) and the music genre paid no attention to the demographic of the clientele - who were mostly middle aged Australians. It was clearly to the taste of the young kitchen staff / bar staff. Basically, soulless club music that no one will remember in 5 years. Worse still, it was bad phone reception or something, as it stopped / cut out roughly every 30 seconds for the entire time we were there!
Cocktail list sitting on the counter.... A patron took it to browse and was told they were not doing / serving cocktails.
I swear there were 20 people there on a Saturday night and the car park was like a ghost-town. The car park and bar / bistro used to be absolutely packed.
Recommendations for improvement:
1. Music to suit the clientele (ask your usual patrons what they'd want to listen to). I'd suggest you put some kind of suggestion box on the counter and people can submit their requests to build a few great play lists (or you could do this via your Facebook page)
2. Serve cocktails (again, ask the people what their favourite 20 cocktails would be)
3. Understand the Australian palate (over sweetening and salting food is a clear indicator the new owners are not used to the western diet). Again, ask your patrons what they think. I would be more than happy to come and food test to help you understand what people like (in general)
4. Prices are too high for what you're serving.
Honestly, your business is going to fold very soon if you don't take this advice on board.
I say this in the hope you will turn it around - and not to disparage you.

Very disappointed with this restaurant. I've ordered delivery several times, and almost every time, there's a problem: missing items, wrong dishes, or incomplete orders. The worst part is that they always blame the Uber Eats drivers, when the mistakes clearly come from the restaurant itself. This shows a real lack of professionalism. I do not recommend ordering here. If i could i would Even remove my star

Came here for lunch to see what it was like having an Entertainment voucher to use. The pub is a sports bar kind of pub, footy on the TV and some guy speaking over the radio who was talking about cars at the race track. Not the best dining experience with loud cars revving in the background and then after it changed to ad radio with loud annoying ads. Place wasn’t busy on a Wednesday mid afternoon just a few people. Unfortunately the pub wouldn’t fully honour the Entertainment voucher where it was to be 25% off the total bill. Claimed we couldn’t include drinks or any meals that were on special. Would have to pay full price for the specials if we wanted to use the voucher. I ordered the pumpkin salad and my partner had the Guinness steak pie. Both meals were okay and came out quickly. We also had some cheese sticks as well which were pretty average but satisfying. Over all probably won’t come here again not having the best dining experience.
