Travelodge Hotel Sydney Martin Place

Good location and the staff at check-in were pleasant. The bed was comfortable and I didn't hear any noise from outside. However, the room and bathroom are very old and in need of an upgrade. The room wasn't as clean as I would have liked and the cups in the cupboard weren't clean at all.

5 Stars for location and convenience - stayed 2 nights over Christmas for Boxing Day shopping and being able to take purchases back to hotel was priceless!
A group of 6 had 3 rooms - great for the price. All were basic, clean and comfy. Staff were helpful.

We stayed here for one night after flying into Sydney.

The staff at check-in and check-out were very friendly and efficient. The room itself is very good for the price, the building is quite dated but has been previously renovated to a reasonable standard for the price. Getting basic kitchenette facilities is handy too.

The bed itself was very comfortable and not too hard like some hotel beds can be.

The only downside is that you can get a lot of early morning noise coming in from the corridor, especially when placed in a room near the lifts.

The location of the hotel is great, with it only being a short stroll to Martin Place. It's also not far to St James station which gives you access to more train lines (including direct to the airport).

Stayed 4 nights with my Husband. We arrived late and Kevin made us feel very welcome.
Our room on the 9th floor was lovely. The room was very spacious and immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable. The room had everything we needed for the 4 nights. It’s well situated close to Martin Place train station and also great if you want to walk.
The Staff were absolutely lovely throughout our stay. Nothing was too much of a problem if we needed to have anything replenished.
Check Out was cheerful and friendly. Will definitely stay here again.

Good location, spacious room and comfy bed. Staff is quite friendly. Basic utilities such as iron, kettle, microwave, cutleries, tea, coffee, 1 small milk, safe and hair dryer. Nice big TV! We got a room close to the lift and we could hear people. The room is quite dusty, dust on kettle, microwave and benches. The bathroom isn't too clean either, looks a bit old. No view from the window, just another block of hotel rooms. Constructions of restaurant are going on but no mentioned on the website. If we knew, we wouldn't have stayed there.
