Visited Friday night 31st October 2025 with 9 pax total. Had some members not really experts in Filipino food so ordered the family boodle fight recommended for 4 to 6 pax. Different types of filipino style food with 4 buko pandan drinks included in the $165 price. (For 4 to 6 pax) Crispy pata, prawns, pork skewers, blue crabs, pansit bison, spring roll variant (lumpia) served on a banana leaf and large wooden serving tray. Actually tastes better with beer I find. The ones that haven't tried many Filipino dishes were pleasantly surprised. Total cost for 9 pax including drinks was $391.30. Parking was easy as most other shopping had closed after 6pm. Atmosphere was OK considering being on commercial road at Port Adelaide.

We had the worst experience at this restaurant. The reviews seemed too good to be true, and we really thought the place would be good. I called around 6:30 pm to ask if we could order over the phone and pick it up, and the lady said it was okay. I asked her about the lechon kawali and how many people it could serve. She said, “It’s good for one, but it can be shared… ano daw?” which already felt a bit unclear.

Anyway, our order was loaded lomi, lechon kawali, and prawn sinigang. She told us the pick-up time would be 1 hour. Because we live far, my husband and our housemate left 30 minutes earlier so they could arrive right on time. When they got there exactly after one hour, instead of being considerate and calling us, they suddenly said there was no lomi and no prawn sinigang available! They couldn’t even offer any proper alternatives.

In the end, they ordered beef pares, but the serving was extremely small and it tasted more like beef stew than pares. And the lechon kawali we ordered turned into porksilog! It was honestly unbelievable. After waiting so long and travelling such a far distance, the whole experience was terrible. They didn’t even apologise—not even once. Instead, they were rude and dismissive. There was no consideration at all for the effort we made.

I honestly do not recommend this restaurant. You’re better off going to Loreto—bigger servings, cheaper prices, and much better service. Here, the servings are tiny, overpriced, the service is terrible, and the staff are so rude. We’re not usually this vocal, but after what happened, we can’t just let it pass. We spoke politely on the phone, but this is the first time we’ve ever experienced something this bad.

Yummy Filipino food. Small and cosy restaurant. The chefs and owner were very accommodating in the requests I asked. My pork silog was very crunchy and the vinegar to dip it in was a great accompaniment to the dish. My partner enjoy his seafood kare kare. As his first introduction to Filipino food he rather enjoyed it.

Great spot with delicious, flavorful Filipino food and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The place feels cozy and welcoming. Perfect for a casual meal with family or friends, definitely worth a visit.

Even though it’s far from the Philippines, Adobo Co. continues to be our top choice for authentic Filipino cuisine. Every dish captures the rich, comforting flavors of home perfectly seasoned, lovingly prepared, and genuinely satisfying.
