Deli Chicchi

Had breakfast at Deli Chicchi in Mount Claremont and absolutely loved it. The place has such a laid-back vibe, with locals popping in for their morning fix and catching up over coffees, which is always a good sign. Went for the smoked salmon bagel and it didn’t disappoint — super fresh, generously stacked and full of flavour. The flat white was spot on too, smooth and rich without being overpowering. Even though it was buzzing, the staff were cheerful and had everything out in no time. Grabbed a table under the umbrellas out front and ended up sitting there for ages, soaking up the quiet, leafy surrounds. Perfect little spot if you’re after quality food and coffee away from the usual city rush.

Stumbled across this place on a drive around Perth and because of a nice Italian name (Kiki right?) so expected the coffee to be strong and a kick in the bum, but it was the same milky coffee that you get in most places in town. The wrap was alright, but what's the highlight is the atmosphere. There's crowds with their morning bikes, dog owners who's too happy to get their waters outside and everybody else from all walks of life.

Food was delicious, but expensive. Nice vibe but freezing cold in there. It was a cold day when we went so we wanted to go to a cafe to warm up. Unfortunately it was just as cold outside as it was in. I told the waiter that it was cold (everyone had their coats on), she said she “might shut the door later” however she never did. I understand you want to keep the door open but at least put some heating on. Unfortunately it was so cold I just wanted to go back to my car where it was warm. The food was delicious though. Really really nice breakfast. $68 for 2 breakfasts and 2 drinks which is a little bit pricier than we usually pay for breakfast out.

Got the pancakes $19 for 2 was expecting them to be nice. They were dry and just not it. Barely any maple syrup and a very small amount of ice cream.
Also got a thick shake which was ok.

Service was good as they were all nice and welcoming.

Only thing that let the cafe down was the food. Unsure about the rest of the menu tho.

Deli Chicchi is such a gem — the coffee is always on point (smooth, strong, and super tasty), and the food never disappoints. You can really tell they care about quality. Whether I’m grabbing a quick takeaway or sitting down for brunch, it’s just a great vibe all around.

The staff are super friendly and welcoming, and the space has that warm, laid-back feel that makes you want to stay a little longer. Highly recommend if you’re in the area — it’s the kind of place you’ll keep coming back to.
