Dock 37 Bar and Kitchen

I was after a quick meal and was hankering for a steak so I thought I would give Dock 37 a go.
Staff were great, very attentive, greeted us straight away, took us to a table and got the drinks order sorted.
I ordered the Rump Steak with a side of Vegatables. The food came out very quickly and I felt a bit like I was eating lunch leftovers. The Roast potatoes were “Baked in Duck Fat” and I was expecting some crispy crunch on the outside, but they were soft and a little cold.
Lots of different sauces on the plate, I could tell they had gone to some effort to plate up,  but none of them seemed to complement each other. Not sure I would return in a hurry.

We were staying at the Pan Pacific and decided to have dinner at Dock 37. Great atmosphere and vibe. The staff were so helpful and attentive. The restaurant caters for casual and fine dinning with a great selection of menus and drinks! A must try!

I stayed near the restaurant and at night at le dinner at Dock 37.

The food was great and tasty. I’m a meat eater so loved the food on the menu.

First night had the Cape Grim Sirloin. Perfectly grilled.

Second night Wagyu Rump…

Not a large meal but enough to hit your macro’s. Not a lot of wine, but the ones on the menu is great.

Lovely spacious but cosy interior. Staff were lovely but often missing. Food was quite average, even though the ingredients were quality - like the large chunks of buffalo mozzarella on the pizza. But that alone can't make up for the bread and base sauce,  and lack of cook on the pizza itself. However, the hard cheese on the charcuturie board was great.

Dinner was decent with good range of dishes. Great option for food near the convention center.
