If you’re heading to the Gold Coast, Movie World is a must-visit! Packed with Hollywood vibes and superhero action, the park is full of energy and fun — perfect whether you’re visiting with family, your partner, or a group of friends.

Some of the top rides you shouldn’t miss include the adrenaline-pumping Superman Escape roller coaster, the super immersive Batwing Spaceshot, and the Looney Tunes Village, which is a hit with the little ones. Don’t forget the daily parade either — it’s your chance to meet Batman, The Joker, Superman, and a few more famous faces up close!

Heads-up:
Movie World regularly hosts awesome themed events (like Halloween Fright Nights and Christmas celebrations). The vibe during these times is absolutely next level — super festive, super fun! Just keep in mind it does get more crowded, so it’s smart to plan ahead.

What I loved:
•	Beautifully designed sets and streets — it’s like stepping into a movie.
•	Live shows are super entertaining.
•	So many photo-worthy spots!

What could be better:
•	Long wait times for popular rides, especially during weekends and holidays.

Tips：
Buy your tickets online to save time, and plan your ride schedule early if you want to hit all the major attractions without spending hours in line.

Great fun and amazing theme park for all ages. My kids were had lot of fun along with taking pictures with superheroes and different characters. The 4D movie experience, roller coaster, food everything were extremely fun. We had visited two days still it was not enough when the rides were unlimited. Highly recommend everyone to visit if you’re planning to Gold Coast.

Absolutely fabulous day. We had no dramas, wasn't too crowded - perks of being able to go out during school hours lol and ride wait times - the longest wait was for the driving school maybe 20 mins or so. The theme park is clean, all the staff are very friendly and kind, the characters are also very friendly and kind. We had a great day. The refill sipper cups are a plus Highly Recommended.  We got our tickets online so there was no wait to go through which was helpful, I recommend you buy tickets in advance. We will definitely be back 😁
The character parade was awesome too.

During the kids' school holidays, we visited Movie World on the Gold Coast, Queensland.

As expected, it was incredibly busy, with large crowds and long queues. Some rides had wait times of up to 55 minutes, truly testing our patience, especially with the kids!

The highlight of the day for me was undoubtedly the Warner Bros. Stunt Cars show. Watching the high-speed action and precision driving with such a big audience made me feel like I was right in the middle of a movie production, and indeed, it was thrilling!

Overall, despite the crowds, it was a worthwhile experience and a memorable outing.

Movie world is so much fun. Have been here twice and because it’s been so long inbetween I do always love it. Definitely worth a visit, it is not my ultimate fun park (Japan Disneyland) but it was still worth a trip. Everyone looks really cool and they have characters walking around and you can get photos. Usually line ups.
we went when it wasn’t too busy but we didn’t know it wasn’t going to be that busy so very glad we didn’t pay for the very expensive “skip the queue” pass, it was over $100! That is ridiculous!
The food is good but there’s not loads to choose from. We liked the pizza, better tasting than it looked. There isn’t enough seating around the place to just chill or when watching the characters come through the Main Street. We just sat on the gutter with the other kids.
The parade of the characters is definitely worth seeing.
The rides are so much fun, some are the same ride regurgitated into a different theme but they’re still fun!
By the way public transport to it is only 50 cents!!! What? In what universe does that even happen?? So well done Queensland government on that one.
