Friends of Mine

First time here, service is very quick and very friendly.  The food came out quickly even though they were busy which was great.

The food was also very tasty.  The smashed avocado was great but does not come with an egg, $3.50 for that.  Reasonable price

Chilli scrambled eggs was a rather small dish for the price and then $3.50 if you want an extra slice of toast, not great value.

Everything tastes great but would be good to be a bit better value.

The place is cute and had friendly staff. Coffee was great but food was not. I ordered the folded eggs with goats cheese but it wasn’t that great. Simply beaten eggs with a dollop of cheese and some herbs strewn around. My friend’s chilli scrambled was better but she was not very happy with the amount of chilli. It was just a teaspoon or so of chilli oil.
Inside and outside seating. On-site separate toilets for female and male. There were lots of kids running around so kid friendly. The place wasn’t that full for a Saturday though I’ve seen them quite busy on the weekends. We did an online booking to be on the safe side. We were seated at a round table which was a bit wobbly. Most likely won’t have the food again but I’ll definitely go back for their coffee.

We enjoyed a delicious meal consisting of chilli scrambled eggs, the Friends omelette, and French toast. The portions were generous, and the ingredients tasted fresh.

Very well known cafe in Richmond! Happily accommodating our walk in group on 4 wanting brunch.

Delicious menu as you can see which made it so difficult to choose from!

We order the French toast, omelette and chilli scrambled eggs - each meal was delicious and very well portioned. The omelettes were stuffed!

We also got some smoothies and juices - delicious also.

Nice place with great menu. Had a simple bacon and eggs on toast and the eggs were poached perfectly.

Bacon also tasted quite high grade and wasn't super fatty.

Only thing I missed was the croissants.  Didnt see them on the menu and only realise they have them as we were leaving and saw the in the reception display.  Next time!
